“Die Originale” cycle routes

In the Bonn/Rhine-Sieg adventure region, you can not only spend the night with real originals. Numerous other originals can also be discovered wonderfully by bike on cycle routes, from Beethoven, baroque castles, Macke, the Museum Mile to the government district, from Auenlandcha’en, the China ship, monasteries, the Victory Ferry to the pilgrimage site!

"Die Originale" cycle route Bonn

The approximately 30 km long circular tour begins and ends in front of the Beethoven House in Bonn’s pedestrian zone. The route leads through Bonn’s city centre, the Nordstadt, the Südstadt with its magnificent city villas, the historic Federal Quarter and the Rheinaue to Bad Godesberg. Along the banks of the Rhine, it then goes back to Bonn city center. Stops include the Old Town Hall Bonn, the Old Cemetery, the August Macke House, the Electoral Palace with its court garden, the Poppelsdorf Castle, the Museum Mile, Little America, La Redoute and the Bastei (gateway to the Romantic Rhine).

"Die Originale" Cycle Route Bonn & Siegtal

The approximately 34 km long round trip begins and ends at the bridge woman on the banks of the Rhine in Bonn-Beuel. The path leads down the Rhine to Schwarzrheindorf and on to the tow ferry, on the Sieg cycle path along the Sieg to Siegburg. Via Sankt Augustin and the Hangelarer Heide, it then goes via Bonn-Pützchen back to the banks of the Rhine in Beuel. Stations include the China ship, the double church of St. Maria and Clemens, the Michaelsberg Abbey, the Siegburg market and Sankt Servatius, the Steyler Missionaries monastery, the Hangelar airfield and St. Adelheid am Pützchen.

"Die Originale" cycle route Bonn Siebengebirge

The approximately 38 km long round trip begins and ends at the “China Ship” on the banks of the Rhine in Beuel and offers numerous romantic views. The path leads up the Rhine to Rolandseck and down the Rhine via Bad Honnef and Königswinter back to the banks of the Rhine in Beuel. The Rhine is crossed several times with two bridges and a ferry. Stations include the Rheinaue, Haus Carstanjen and its mausoleum, the Drachensteinpark with a view of the Drachenfels, the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck, the ferry crossing with a view of the Rolandsbogen, Grafenwerth Island, the Stiftung Bundeskanzler-Adenauer-Haus, Drachenfels and Drachenfelsbahn and the Bonner Bogen.
